A study of the aesthetic, linguistic, and audio-sensory essence of electro-acoustic music
OVERVIEW

In order to establish the rhetorical qualities of music, I examine the literature of Ludwig Wittgenstein, Jacques Attali, Paulo Chagas, and Aristotle on the function of music in relation to language.
Then, the aspects of electronic and acoustic music are compared on the basis of aesthetics, in relation to the discussion on rhetoric and in consideration of future possibilities.
